Liberty Village has a special place amongst the vast Lifetime portfolio. Lifetime Developments continues to serve as one of the most influential developers that has had a hand in shaping the community into what it is today, and what it will be in the coming years. Acquired in 2004, the Liberty Market Building underwent a multi-million dollar revitalization of over 300,000 square feet of commercial space right in the heart of Liberty Village. Local artist and creative director Ben Johnston, also a proud resident of the neighbourhood, was challenged to create a strong statement for Liberty Village that would capture its urban vibrancy, industrial history, entrepreneurial culture, and the resounding sense of pride within the community.
